Our trainers

Our trainers – practice-oriented experts who make the difference

In contrast to other providers who focus exclusively on training and conferences, our trainers are also actively involved in customer projects. This unique combination of training expertise and direct practical experience in real projects makes the difference: our trainers not only understand the theory, but also live the practice. They know the current challenges and requirements at first hand and incorporate this knowledge directly into their training courses.

Thanks to their active involvement in various industry projects, our trainers are always up to date and can offer you practical and tried-and-tested solutions. They accompany you on your individual learning path and ensure that you can apply what you have learned directly in your day-to-day work.

Here you can find our trainers.

Organizational & technical information

We have compiled all the important information for you so that you can start our training courses well prepared.

Start and end times:

Our training courses usually start at 9:00 am and end at 5:00 pm. Sufficient breaks are planned so that you can concentrate and recover throughout the day. For exact times for your event, please refer to the respective training information.

All times given correspond to Central European Time (CET) or Central European Summer Time (CEST).

Implementation format:

Online with MS Teams or Zoom.

Technical requirements:

To ensure that your online training runs smoothly, we carry out a technical check before the start. This check ensures that all technical requirements are met so that you can concentrate fully on the content. Together with you, we check

  • Your internet connection to ensure stable participation.
  • The audio and video settings so that you can hear and be seen well.

The technical check takes place before the official start of the training. This gives us enough time to rectify any technical problems before the training starts.

Examination instructions

In the event that your training concludes with an examination, you will receive all the relevant information in advance. The examination is usually held on the last day of training. There are no special requirements for taking the exam, apart from successful participation in the training course. Detailed examination instructions will be made available to you in good time. Online examinations can be arranged individually by prior arrangement. The exam lasts 75 minutes. Participants whose native language is not the language of the exam can request an extension of 15 minutes.

You can find more information about the exam here.

Prerequisites & course recommendations

In order for you to benefit optimally from our training courses, it is important that certain requirements are met.

If you would like to refresh or deepen your knowledge before the training course, we can offer you appropriate course recommendations.

Prerequisites:

More than 18 months of practical experience in software development based on division of labor (i.e. in teams), acquired by programming different systems outside of training

Knowledge and practical experience in at least one high-level programming language

Basic knowledge of:

    • Modeling and abstraction
    • Algorithms and data structures
    • UML (class, package, component and sequence diagrams) and their relationship to source code
    • Software testing procedures (e.g. unit and acceptance tests)

It is also helpful to understand some concepts:

Basic terms or differences of imperative, declarative, object-oriented and functional programming.

practical experience in:

  • a high-level programming language
  • conception, design and implementation of distributed applications such as client/server systems or web applications
  • technical documentation, especially in the documentation of source code, system designs or technical concepts

UML refresher:

To get the most out of your training, we recommend that you attend a UML refresher beforehand.

This course refreshes your knowledge of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and optimally prepares you for the more advanced content.

This will enable you to use complex modeling techniques with confidence and benefit even more from our training courses.

Book recommendation

To deepen your knowledge, we recommend the book „Software Architecture Fundamentals: A Study Guide for the Certified Professional for Software Architecture® – Foundation Level – iSAQB compliant“ by Mahbouba Gharbi, Arne Koschel, Andreas Rausch and Gernot Starke. This work provides a solid foundation for aspiring and experienced software architects and covers key concepts and best practices. It is an excellent companion to our training courses or for in-depth study after the course, and if you are unsure which course is right for you, we will be happy to help you choose.

Contact us and together we will find the right course for your individual goals and knowledge.
