Introduction to the World of Software Architecture

The iSAQB CPSA Foundation Level provides almost all IT professionals involved in software projects with a comprehensive introduction to the tasks of a software architect. After the training, participants can independently design, document, ensure quality, and evaluate the architecture of a system. They gain know-how on the fundamental methods, techniques, and tools required for this.

Basic knowledge for software architects and more

In this training course, you will learn the basic concepts of software architectures and discover the tasks and roles of software architects in a project. Accompanied by numerous practical exercises, you will acquire the ability to design, communicate, analyze, evaluate, further develop and professionally document software architectures for small and medium-sized IT systems. After completing the CPSA-F training, you will have the necessary know-how and tools to work on a wide range of applications. The “Certified Professional for Software Architecture – Foundation Level (CPSA-F)” exam can be taken immediately after the training, either on-site or remotely if the training is online.

► Basic concepts and the importance of software architectures
► Tasks, responsibilities and role of software architects in projects
► Development of software architectures for small and medium-sized IT systems
► State-of-the-art methods and techniques for developing software architectures
► Documentation and communication using views, architectural patterns and technical concepts
► Practical examples and exercises for software architectures

Optional: UML refresher course (min. 4 participants required)

The Unified Modeling Language, or UML for short, is an indispensable tool for most software architects. That is why we offer an optional refresher course the day before the CPSA Foundation training. To book the option, add the UML refresher to your shopping cart along with your CPSA-F training. The UML refresher can take place if the minimum number of five participants is reached.
