Mahbouba Gharbi studied telecommunications and information technology at ENS Telecom Paris from 1994 to 1999, as well as communications engineering and data processing at the University of Stuttgart, where she obtained a double degree in engineering. She has been working as a software architect and developer since 1999. In 2004, she founded ITech Progress GmbH, which she still heads today as CEO and Chief Architect. She is a founding member of the International Software Architecture Qualification Board (iSAQB e.V.) and was its Chairwoman until 2023. Gharbi is a certified trainer for the CPSA program and heads the ITech Academy, which offers training courses on software architecture and IT project management. She is an active speaker at international trade fairs, gives lectures and works as an author. She has been a member of the advisory board of the Department of Computer Science at Worms University of Applied Sciences since 2021.
The computer scientist from the University of Hamburg has more than 15 years of experience in complex IT projects and architecture departments. His focus is on enterprise, business and technical architectures, especially for RESTful and service-oriented architectures (SOA).
