Max

Requirements Engineering, Software Architecture, Project Management

Experience and Qualifications

Max brings more than 20 years of experience as a requirements engineer, software architect, and project manager.
As an accredited iSAQB trainer for the Advanced Level module REQ4ARC as well as for the CPSA Foundation Level,
he combines methodological depth with real project experience—creating training courses that deliver immediate practical impact.

Through numerous IT projects across a wide range of industries, Max is familiar with both the typical pitfalls and the key success factors.
For this reason, he does not apply methods “by the book,” but rather in a targeted and customer-oriented way:
for every project situation, he works with participants to develop a tailored approach that fits the specific context.

His particular expertise lies in eliciting and specifying functional and non-functional requirements,
as well as defining and modeling processes and architectures.
For him, it is not just about clean documentation, but about clarity, decision-making capability,
and reliable results.

Personal Philosophy

For Max, understanding goals and processes is the foundation for developing successful products.
Every project is different – which is why effective execution always requires a methodology tailored to the situation.
Agility works: Agile practices help create future-proof and well‑accepted products while enabling teams to respond to changing requirements.

Mastering complex systems comes from understanding fundamentals, mechanisms, and dependencies – combined with the mindset that perfection is achieved when nothing more can be removed.

Personal Style

Max has successfully supported and delivered numerous IT projects – from requirements elicitation to architectural work and the practical implementation in day‑to‑day project environments.
In trainings, workshops, and coaching sessions, he teaches methods and techniques in a way that enables participants to apply them immediately.
He has also repeatedly developed approaches, methods, and processes together with participants in training and coaching formats, tailored specifically to their organizations and challenges.

Special Achievements

Max designs his trainings to be highly interactive, developing content together with the participants — practical, easy to understand, and focused on real‑world value.
He explains complex topics using clear, practice‑oriented examples in a technology‑agnostic way, ensuring that the concepts can be applied regardless of the tool stack used within an organization.
Max consistently focuses on the desired outcome: together with the participants, he first clarifies what exactly needs to be achieved.
Based on this, he derives how processes must be meaningfully structured to pursue a clear goal — and how systems can best support this goal.
As a result, his trainings not only create “aha moments,” but also deliver actionable approaches that hold up in everyday project work.
